The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the rental. Pickup and return were straightforward, and we appreciated his professionalism during the trip. Unfortunately, our experience changed after the rental ended. We were charged a substantial cleaning fee despite thoroughly cleaning the trailer before returning it. We wiped down all surfaces, swept and mopped the floors, and stripped the bed linens/washed towels. We also found the trailer was not spotless when we picked it up, so the cleaning charge was unexpected and unwarranted. We were also charged for a dinette table where the laminate was peeling, which appears to be normal wear and tear rather than damage caused my negligence during our rental. While we enjoyed the rental itself and found the host pleasant to work with, future renters should carefully document the condition of the trailer with detailed photos and videos at both pickup and return in case any questions arise after the trip.

Marc was great and took the time to show us everything. This was our first time using Outdoorsy or renting a trailer period. Smooth sailing and learned a lot about trailer life that will help us in the near future as we look forward to doing more in retirement.
