5.0Keira saved our trip: notified the day before, she managed to get the RV ready for our departure, after our previous host cancelled our booking with only 36 hours' notice. The "Juan de Fuca" proved to be comfortable and cozy and well-equipped with bedding, dishes, and cooking gear; it was also very easy to drive. Unfortunately, the electric cooler's power cord didn't work in the cigarette lighter socket, Keira tried to fix it before our departure but, considering the short notice we gave her, she couldn't. She reimbursed us for the purchase of a cooler to use when we stayed at campsites without electricity. We really enjoyed traveling with this van.

5.0We took a short trip from Victoria to Gabriola Island with the ‘Juan de Fuca’ Wondervan, and had such a cozy trip! The details like the wood panelling, large bed, string lights, and heater made it hard to get out of bed in the morning. We were so appreciative of the amount of kitchen supplies, fridge, and propane stove to whip up some delicious meals. Keira was really prompt and easy to communicate with. She answered all my pre-trip questions and even provided some recommendations for camping. I had contacted Keira along the trip to fix the water pump (user error), and she patiently walked me through the instructions so that the rest of the trip would run smoothly. Thanks so much, Keira! Will definitely be back!

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

I will supply you with a comprehensive list for operating the van, and everything in the van for your trip, as well as walking you through anything you'd like help with during the key handover. No need to stress!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
My current schedule allows me to be quite flexible with pick and drop off times. I know flights and ferries get delayed so again, no need to stress! I can accommodate a changing schedule, just keep me updated :)

What is supplied for making coffee?
R.
A critical question! I supply a Hario V60 pour over coffee setup. Perfect for anyone from the low maintenance coffee drinker to the coffee enthusiast. Please supply your own pre-ground beans!

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
The house battery charges automatically while you drive, which is often to keep the battery fully charged. If you're not doing much driving, you can choose to set up the portable solar panel in the sun to top up the battery, or plug the AC to DC charger into a standard outlet. I supply a 50 ft hose to easily top up the 5 gallon fresh water jug as needed. The 5 gallon grey water tank can be removed and dumped when needed.
