Our camper van rental experience was extremely disappointing and turned our anniversary trip into a stressful and costly ordeal. My husband and I rented the camper van from September 2-6, 2026, to celebrate our wedding anniversary on September 3. On the evening of September 3, around 8:30 PM, the vehicle broke down just 9.7 miles from Yellowstone's South Entrance. With no cell service, we could not contact anyone for help, including emergency services. Fortunately, a kind couple gave us a ride to a nearby town, where we found a mechanic willing to tow the camper van that same night. On September 5, the mechanic determined the vehicle was unsafe to operate and informed both us and the owner. The owner agreed to tow the vehicle back to Salt Lake City, leaving us no choice but to end our trip early. Because it was a holiday weekend, rental cars throughout YS & Grand Teton were unavailable, forcing us to purchase expensive last minute flights back to Salt Lake City. While the owner agreed to refunded the rental cost (excluding Outdoorsy fees), the breakdown ruined our anniversary trip caused us to lose valuable vacation time & left us with significant out-of-pocket expense.

We had a great trip with this van. It was very convenient, and pickup was easy. I would absolutely rent again.

We had the best time! Van was amazing. Super clean. Worked great. Only thing was that the gas wasn’t filled up when we picked it up, but just a minor inconvenience- besides that Bobby was amazing to work with and super helpful.

Bobby was absolutely wonderful to work with! He worked with me on pickup and drop off times. Tuesday was all set to go and perfect for me and my dog. She drove nicely and was super comfortable. She was the hit at my family reunion. I 100% recommend Tuesday and renting from Bobby. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!
