Hi! Welcome to Lost Winds Vans! Our newly listed Hi Top Custom Sportsmobile was an adventure dream for our family and now we want to share that dream with you! To get you the extra mile, 150 miles/day are included in our rate for all! It's a go anywhere, do anything, ready at a moment's notice kind of van. First, it will leave you speechless with the pristine layout. Next, it drives like a dream with a strong diesel engine and extremely low miles (42k). This van allows you to get on the road to your favorite places with everything you need. You'll be talking about this van, and your vacation in it, long after your trip is over.The van comfortably sleeps 2 adults & 1-2 small children and includes all the amenities your crew needs for the best trip ever. It is also the Perfect van for an outing with friends as there are seatbelts for 10! The double extra-long bench seats convert to a massive king bed that can easily fit 2 adults and 1 small child. Tip: The 4 of us love to cuddle up and watch a movie on rainy nights. A family size tent can be included free of charge, just ask!
In the stocked kitchen you can cook up a feast. There is a propane cooktop, full sink, and refrigerator, along with ample counter space. Or use the exterior BBQ connection to cook outdoors! Enjoy happy hour or work from the road at the custom table, with plenty of power to charge your devices.
If you're looking to bring bikes, we have racks that can be added anytime.Additional features include:

-Van takes DIESEL GAS ONLY
- Please skip the Biodiesel option as the engine will run longer without it. If you are traveling and BioDiesel is only choice, Biodiesel blend MUST BE **B20 or LOWER**. Diesel gas located within a mile of drop-off location.
-Dog friendly on a case-by-case basis. An added cleaning fee of $50 applies. Sorry, no cats.
-No smoking or vaping in or within 20 feet of the vehicle. Subject to loss of full security deposit if rule not followed.
-No festivals. Concerts are cool.
-No off-roading. It's a diesel, not a 4x4.
-No restaurant drive-thrus or parking garages due to roof clearance
-No climbing on roof
-If the van or the contents of the van are damaged during your rental period, you are responsible to pay all damaged costs. If an accident occurs, you are responsible to obtain a police report, contact Outdoory's insurance, and notify us immediately.
-Renter is responsible for the replacement cost of any damaged or lost van accessories provided.

Welcome to Lost Winds Vans! Established in 2022, after a long few years for us all, we realized our dream of traveling more with our family was worth it! We rented a few times on Outdoorsy and loved how easy it was, so we decided to dive in, purchased a beauty of a Sportsmobile, and hit the road! We chose this business because we love people and adventure with a slice of comfort! We are friendly, efficient, and most importantly, affordable. The name "Lost Winds" or Lasuens shares the name one of our favorite local beaches in our hometown of San Clemente. We know all sorts of sneaky spots in California if you'd like any ideas. The Transit was an impressive, smooth ride with all the critical features for a great road trip. The sofa/table area that turned into a queen bed easily fit two adults and a small child. The hosts were always available by text or phone to help with any issues. Great customer service, and we will definitely rent again.

Hello! This booking was reserved just 1 day before departure so I cancelled that same day it was reserved. Thanks for considering a trip with us. I don’t know how this booking was originally allowed as we already had a renter on their way and the van was booked through Sunday evening. I’m again so sorry for the confusion and that we weren’t able to accommodate your family.

We had an amazing trip in the Lost Winds van up to Big Sur! Beth and Pete were easy to communicate with and helpful if any issues arose. When we encountered some bad weather on our way back, they generously allowed us to extend our van rental for an extra day to ensure our safety. Our toddler had a blast playing with his toy trucks in the spacious back of the van. Beth and Pete provided everything one might need for camping, making the process of packing for the trip simple and easy. This experience was truly wonderful and we look forward to another adventure with Lost Winds.

Bethany and Peter were great. Peter was handling all question for the RV operations and Bethany was very responsive leading up to the rental. They have a very functional bike rack for our "Analog" bikes. We drove up to Mammoth Lakes, CA for 8 nights. We met our friends up there and cycled around Mammoth Lakes.
The Lost Winds RV worked great and like the simplicity.
