There is nothing more American than than taking a road trip in an RV. This 25.5 foot RV is very easy to drive and operate. Shorter size has many advantages, as it is easy to drive and has great maneuverability. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis very reliable, and efficient. The diesel engine gets 15-25 MPG, almost double of what gas engine RVs are getting. If you can drive a full size SUV, then you can safely drive this RV with no problems. No smoking in the RV. Please be considerate of non smokers. Evidence of smoking will result in a $300 fee to cover cleaning and deodorizing.
Please return the RV is similar condition how it was delivered. We understand that RVs get dirty while on the road. Returning an RV with a normal amount of dirt is totally acceptable and will not result in any additional charges. If Rv is returned with excessive dirt, trash, or items not put away a cleaning fee will be charged from $100 to $500 depending on the condition it was returned. Please make sure to remove all trash, wash dishes, and store all items to avoid additional fees.
No extreme boon docking or extreme off roading. Level, flat, dirt roads, fire roads, or campgrounds with dirt roads, are ok. This is a 2WD RV with low ground clearance. Many of the RV components are exposed under the body. These can be damaged when off roading. If you are unsure of the ability of the RV in certain road conditions or areas just ask us. Chances are we have been there or can offer help or suggestions in planning for your trip. There are hundreds if not thousands of dirt miles to explore in our RV, that are accessible and safe for Big Bertha. If RV if used in non approved roads you will loose your security deposit. We have 2 GPS sensors in the RV.
Pets must be approved and have additional deposit based on size and breed. If your dog sheds please clean up all dog hair prior to returning RV to avoid additional cleaning fees. We can provide a vacuum for your use.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

We require an orientation prior to the RV heading out on any trip. During this orientation we will go over everything that you will need while on your road trip. We cover all the in & outs of RV life and the features and amenities of our RV.

Can I take Big Bertha off roading or boondocking?

Big Bertha is a luxury RV and is better suited for RV parks or easy dirt roads. Big Bertha is not suited nor built for off roading. Please let us know your destinations and we can see if Big Bertha can handle the roads you have planned for your trip.

What are the sleeping accommodations in Big Bertha?

The rear bedroom has a flex bed system that can be set up as a king bed or 2 twin beds. The front sofa can sleep a small adult or small child. We also have a bunk bed system called Cabunk that can be set up over the front seats and sleep 2 small children, or a small cot that can be set up over the front seats and sleep a small adult. Also available is a small cot that can be set up in front of the sofa once the slide is out. Big Bertha can sleep 3-4 adults, or 2 adults and 2-4 small children.
