Hi dear outdoor adventurers & earth roamers,Thank you so much for letting my Chariot to create unforgettable memories for you! I'm so excited for all the beautiful memories and adventures you’d create for life with Chariot! Before sending a booking request, Please Read our notes/rules to avoid any confusion/dissatisfaction:1. Chariot is not ideal for someone who is over 6 ft tall to drive due to the partition wall preventing the driver seat to be pushed back fully. Although I did have a guest who is 6ft tall but the length is more on his torso to let me know that driving Chariot was totally ok!2. A 40-60 minutes "walk-through" is needed when you're picking up. Please plan accordingly.3. All toll fees will be collected when returning.4. There's no mileage limitation on Chariot. But if you're driving out of the state of California, guest is required to pay for an oil change & tire rotation maintenance service via verified Ford dealership on the trip. It can happen prior, during or after the trip depending on host and guest's schedule.5. DO NOT Smoke Inside THE VAN. It will result in a $250 penalty.6. Please add on pet fee if your pet is coming along, or it will result in $250 penalty if we deem that there's trace of pet in the van when cleaning.7. Please let me know if you're allergic to cat. We will do an extra thorough cleaning to make sure you have a comfortable stay!Story of Chariot:
Chariot was created to chase a wild dream of mine back in 2019 and she has brought me to the wildest dreams I could ever imagine after living full time in it for one year. Chariot is a Ford Transit XTL 250 High Roof cargo van (good for tall human to stand in but not driving :). Then piece by piece, wire by wire, my carpenter friend and I designed and built the basic structure. She went across the country 3 times after the built and have become something bigger than I expected. Over the years, my partner, Derek, and I slowly refine and upgrade everything to which of what you see now. That being said, we're still refining and upgrading her. She may not be the most perfectly designed camper van (yet), and she sure has all the charms which require you to take good care of while on the road! But I promise, she's not high maintenance and would certainly make your journey a lot easier if you pay attention to her details :-)Chariot has taken us to 15+ national parks across the country along with our little black cat, miss mishi. Chariot has all the things you'd need to call it home. So all you need is your free spirited mind and suitcase! I can't wait to see what she will take you on for a magical journey of your own!Ce qui est inclus• One burner induction cooktop
• 2 small foldable camping chairs
• Polaroid instant camera with film
• Yoga mat
• Biodegradable soup for handwashing and showering - Dr. Bronner's
• Portable bluetooth speaker
• Stepping stool for easy in/out of the van
• Two extra 5 gallon water jugs for your off roading trip
RecommandationsCalifornia is beautiful everywhere you go. Let's chat so I can recommend what interests you the most (the towering Redwoods, Giant Sequoias, rugged coastline, sea urchin hunting, fishing, bird/animal watching, etc...)

Charlotte is a great host. She is very responsive and did a great pre-trip run down with the van. Chariot is well stoked for cooking -cutting boards, sharp knife, spices, everything you need to make your camping trip a culinary delight! I recommend getting the campstove add-on. It's a great stove. Chariot's bed is very cozy, we slept great on our trip. It is dark, quiet, comfortable -great combo for sleeping after hiking all day. Chariot drives really well. We hope to take her out again someday!

Charlotte was a PHENOMENAL host! If I could give her 10 stars I would! She was an excellent communicator and reached out a few times during our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly.
I accidentally ran over a nail near Joshua Tree and had to get a new tire as a result. She offered so much support and resources to me while I was trying to navigate the situation.
I’ve AIRBNBed and rented a number of vehicles over the past eight and I’ve never met a host more kind and wonderful than Charlotte. You can tell she has such a passion and love for this and it really impacts your trip. She catered to all of our needs and more. The layout of the van alone and the amenities provided reveal how intentional she is about creating a warm, charming, and welcoming space.
Chariot provided me and my dogs a home away from home for a week as we celebrated my old dog’s 5th year adoption anniversary by going on a road trip. We drove from SF to AZ and back stopping in different cities and sites. I would book with Charlotte and Chariot again in a heartbeat! Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!!

Oh my goodness, where to start. Firstly, Charlotte was such a blessing. She was so bright and thoughtful.. Secondly, Chariot was a dream! Charlotte had thought of everything, and was so informative. We had an issue a couple of days into our trip, and Charlotte drove for over 8 hours to help us out. Not only that, she provided further significant support to ensure the rest of our trip could be what we had always wanted. Everything you could need for a compact kitchen and super great having the fridge. Everything was easy to manage. Super comfy bed too. Bonus…my 6’4” husband could stand up, with space!! Honestly couldn’t recommend Charlotte and Chariot more!

Q.What if I drive through a toll?
R.
Your toll(s) will be collected after the trip and the payment will be deducted from the $500 deposit within 7 days.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
Please make it a habit to always check and ensure all drawers are locked and all lose items are put away before hitting the road! It will help prevent damages and would ultimately make your trip much more enjoyable!
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We're usually very flexible since I work from home. So I'll try to be as accommodated as possible unless we're happened to be away.
Q.Can I bring along my pet(s)?
R.
Yes! We're pet-friendly. But please disclose that you're bringing your pet(s) along and purchase the pet fee. Failure to do so will result in $250 penalty if we deem that there's trace of pet(s) being in the van when cleaning.
