Oliver was responsive and made efforts to help us troubleshoot the RV’s heater we faced from first night. Unfortunately, the heater would not ignite or produce heat throughout our trip, despite our following several troubleshooting instructions from Oliver and working with Outdoorsy’s roadside assistance. We were traveling in Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, where nighttime temperatures were around 45°F. Without a functioning heater, the RV became extremely cold and uncomfortable. Oliver offered to reimburse us for a blanket, but a blanket is not an adequate substitute for the RV’s built-in heating system, especially when traveling in cold mountain areas or with children. Oliver mentioned that previous renters had not reported a problem and later stated that the heater worked after we returned the RV. However, it did not work during our rental when we needed it, despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue. Ultimately, the conditions were uncomfortable enough that we ended our vacation one day early and returned the RV. While we appreciate Oliver’s responsiveness, a host should ensure that essential systems—particularly the heater—are inspected and fully operational before the RV is rented. Relying on roadside assistance after a major system fails does not restore the lost vacation time or compensate for spending cold nights without heat. I’m sharing this honest feedback so future renters, particularly families traveling with children or anyone planning to visit colder destinations, can confirm that the heater has been thoroughly tested before beginning their trip. Last but not least, the RV’s tire was not in good condition and shows lacking alignments. Not sure how safe it was but I relied on host’s advice as it is normal for RV. In my opinion the host is relying more on roadside assistance vs. regular/seasonal maintenance.

We're 2 adults and have experience renting. This RV was perfect for what we needed for an extended weekend trip to Coloma. The bed was super comfy, A/C was fantastic, refrigerator is a great size. We had a few things come up during the trip and Oliver was super responsive and this was very appreciated.

Oliver was a great host!!!!

Oliver was very nice but more concerned about the RV than our enjoyment of it. We were two medium size women and could not take a shower as the bathroom was too small. As this is a very small rv everything was small and you don’t realize it until you are in it. It drove very well and had minimal rattling.

Oliver has a very organized approach to the rental and walkthrough process. The RV is great and ideal for a small group!
