If you like something closer 2 hour drive from Chicago it's Warren Dunes StatePark absolutely Beautiful Place , with perfect sunsets , beach and hiking location ,
For Spring or Fall Brown County , you can hike, bike , and everything in between ( this one its around 5 hours drive )
One hour Drive are many locations Wisconsin and Illinois . Yogi Bear Campgrounds are kids friendly with heated outdoor pool , playground and full hookup

We (2 adults) rented for four nights and found Eva’s camper perfect for our needs. The trailer was clean and well maintained. Eva did a thorough review of how to operate during pickup and was easy to work with. I would rent again for our next trip.

My first time pulling a camper let alone renting one. Eva and her husband were very pleasant to rent the camper from. The unit was in clean and mechanically sound condition for our trip to Indiana to see the solar eclipse.
My wife and I are considering going on another camping adventure and we would rent Eva’s camper again.

Wonderful experience all around! Eva and her husband were so easy to work with and took their time with us so we understood all the ins and outs of the R-pod. They were easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly, both prior to and during our rental. The R-pod was in great shape and very clean! Would definitely rent from them again!
