This setup is ideally meant for the minimalist, the ones set on getting outside and having all the necessary items at your fingertips, and spent in nature.
On the road, the 2014 Tundra underneath is your go-anywhere engine: mountain passes, forest service roads, or long hauls to the next national park. Roll into camp, drop the bike rack, and suddenly you’ve got trail access without ever needing to break down camp. Ride singletrack all day, come back to a warm, dry space with a rooftop tent waiting for you. The olympic sleeps two in the front over-cab space, one on the table (not as comfortable) and up to three in the tent.

5.0Renting Zach’s Scout and truck was amazing, and a great way to see lots of what the PNW has to offer while being comfortable and mobile! Coming from out of town, it was great having the essentials (linens, cooking utensils, etc.) already there and ready to go. Zach was available to help show us through some of the nuances of the Scout/truck but also provided videos ahead of time to enable easy pick up. Possibly the best perk of the Scout is the ability to be comfortable in all parts of the camping experience, but also set up and close up within minutes, which enabled us to basically wake up and go every morning. Whether you are planning on heading out of town to a single campsite for a weekend, or see all the sites in a whirlwind weekend tour, Zach’s Scout is the way to go!
