The van is parked on the tree-lined street in one of the hippest and safest neighbourhoods in Vancouver. A few blocks away is a beautiful Kitsilano beach. You can also move the van and park overnight near the beach for free because we have a special permit. Public washroom is available, and there is a shower facility at the nearby pool. A portable toilet can be made available without fee if you are not planning to drive a long distance.
Surrounding the area are hip coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and a pool. This camper van is clean, simple, and very comfortable. Unlike other camper vans where the bed is built sideways, it has a standard queen-size thick mattress, so you get excellent sleep here. If you prioritize a good sleep after all day adventure, this is the ideal van for you.The van is an older model, so there is no bluetooth connections and air conditioning (though you barely need it unless there is a rare heat wave). It is very reliable, well serviced and has power, so it is fun to drive. You'll also get real pillows, blankets and extra sleeping bag. The van is insulated to keep heat so it wont be cold in summer months (heater is provided for winter months). All the blankets, towels and bed sheets are washed for every guest. It is roomy enough to live comfortably but still easy to drive and park. Comes with new all-season tires and is perfect for a ferry ride to explore Vancouver Island. The van is just under 7ft. If you book a ferry ticket, it will fall into a standard car cheaper than RV. A few notes:Please fill the gas before returning the Van. You'll be charged for the gas cost+ $40 refill fee.
Only 1 pet is allowed with an additional fee of $30 per day (max $120). No smoking in the Van, please, as the mattress absorbs the smell. If the van requires excessive cleaning (smell removal due to pet hair, dirty mattress, smoking odor), you'll be charged $80/hr x how long it takes me to bring the van back to the state in which you received it.Each rental night includes 150 km—$ 0.6 per km overage. (NOT in Miles)

Flexible with pickup and drop-off
Faai was consistently praised for her quick responses, clear explanations, and flexibility with pickup/drop-off times, even accommodating travel delays. She provided essential gear, including propane, kitchen tools, and warm bedding.
Reliable and easy to drive
Guests consistently praised its smooth driving, reliability over long distances (2500+ km), and easy maneuverability for parking. The van's compact size was convenient for ferries. It's well-equipped with a comfy bed, blankets, cooking gear, ample storage, and charging ports.

5.0It was my friend and I's first time doing a trip like this and we had the best time in Faai's van!!! It was very comfy, cozy, clean, spacious, easy and smooth to drive and very reliable. It was also equipped with absolutely everything we needed an had a lot of convenient storage space. We drove it all the way up to Joffre National Park, Whistler and all the way down to Tofino. Faai is incredibly kind, accomodating and very responsive and we knew she was always available if we had any questions. It truly made our experience on the west coast very memorable and we would do it again in this van a million times over. Thank you again Faai!!

5.0The Van of Faai is very reliable. We drove over 2500 km and we had no troubles. Faai is very kind and answers fast. We would recommend a vacation in Faais Camper Van if you want to visit canada on the road and in nature (which is the best way to explore), like adventures and minimalistic camping.

5.0Faai was very flexible as far as pickup time when we got out of the airport quickly, and as far as drop off when we got stuck in traffic. The van had everything we needed and we slept well: comfy pillows, warm blankets on nights we needed them, and blackout curtains. It was especially convenient for the ferry that the van was shorter than 7ft. For two people, we would rent this van again in a heartbeat.

5.0We had a brilliant time in Faai's van for 6 nights - it was super cosy and drove really well across Vancouver Island. We had really good sleeps - the bed is comfy and the van is a good size - and really handy being the smaller size for the ferry to island! The van was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Faai was super lovely, and really understanding with some difficulties we had on our side before picking up the van. Hugely recommend Faai's van for any trips/adventures! Thanks again Faai!
