** Please note this van IS a stick shift.Cruise the Island of Maui in style by renting our 90's Vanagon with all original, vintage interior. This camper van will come fully equipped with bedding, basic cooking essentials, towels, lawn chairs, and other various items you'll find useful for your trip (all included in the van rental). The top does pop open so it can accommodate 4 guests comfortably.Some things to note since you are renting out an older vehicle:
Her upgraded engine and transmission make for a smooth and fun ride. However, she is 30 years old and on "island time", so you may not be getting to places at warp speed. But if you love her, she'll love you back and get you to where you need to go.
All drivers need to be 25 years of age or older.
All drivers will need to sign an agreement with us upon pickup and we'll need a copy of driver's license for each driver.
If you are from outside of the US, we will also require a copy of all passports for every driver.
Insurance: You are 100% responsible for any damage done to the exterior or interior of the vehicle. Because of this, we do require this vehicle to be insured by you during your rental.This camper van will come fully equipped with bedding, basic cooking essentials, towels, lawn chairs, and other various items you'll find useful for your trip.
This camper van is NOT allowed up crater road/waipoli road at all. You will be charged with loss of deposit.
All damages incurred are your responsibility. As well as flat tires/driving in sand/etc.There are some great camping spots we recommend to check out:

Not allowed up to Crater Road or Waipoli...much too steep for this ole girl!!!Final rental charges are due 2 weeks prior to pickup of Camper Van. Payments must be paid in U.S. Dollars by Cash, Cashier's Check, Travelers Check or Credit Card. Sorry, no personal checks allowed.Driving License: All drivers must possess a driver license valid for the entire rental period and a major credit card. An international driver license is recommended for foreign tourists. Only drivers listed on the contract are allowed to drive. All drivers and their drivers’ licenses must be present at time of vehicle pick up.Travel Area Restrictions: We do NOT allow this camper to be driven up to Haleakala National Park. Crater Road is way too steep for these little engines. Same applies for Waipoli road (lavender farm or PoliPoli Springs). Driving on unpaved areas is not allowed. Renter is liable for all damages and towing charges incurred due to operating in unfavorable conditions. There will be a fine imposed if GPS evidence of driving offroad/ or in unrestricted areas.Violations / Tickets: You are responsible for any traffic violations during your stay. (parking tickets...etc)Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the camper van. Evidence of smoking is subject to a MINIMUM $200 CHARGE.Cleaning: Renters are responsible for cleaning out the interior the camper van, doing dishes, and sweeping out / vacuuming the sand out. YOU WILL BE CHARGED $ FOR DIRTY CONDITION OF THE CAMPER VAN. PLEASE LEAVE IT AS YOU RECEIVED IT.Towing: Towing of anything is prohibited with a camper van. DONT DRIVE IN THE SAND! I charge a minimum of $100 to tow camper out of the sand with my truck (depending on drive times). Don’t try to force your way out, I will know if you got stuck in the sand.. and you’ll likely just cause damage to the clutch or transmission. Tow truck will cost $300 minimum if you call one.Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and no shows forfeit their reservation deposit.Early returns: No refunds are given for early returns after acceptance of the vehicle.Insurance: All drivers must carry proof of insurance if they provided their own upon pick up of camper van.Security Deposit: Any damages during your trip will be deducted from your deposit
