Trip Planning & Charging
Please plan your route in advance. The Tesla navigation system is excellent—use it to locate Superchargers along the way. We strongly recommend mapping out your daily drives so you always have convenient charging stops available.
Aim to arrive at chargers with at least 20% battery remaining whenever possible. This gives you a comfortable buffer and prevents any risk of getting stranded.
Regular charging at Tesla Superchargers will keep your trip enjoyable and the car performing at its best.
Battery Care
Tesla batteries are durable and designed for many years of use, but completely draining the battery to 0% (especially repeatedly or while the car is under load) can cause long-term damage. We ask that you treat the battery with care, just as you would any other important component of the vehicle.
In the rare case that the battery is fully drained and damaged due to misuse, you will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement. Our goal is to avoid this entirely through good planning!
