Great overall experience, unfortunately experienced challenges with solar equipment due to smoke from wildfires. We were unable to use water heater, heater, and stove since weren’t connected to shore power. After a few days of use, the battery depleted and the solar couldn’t even charge enough for fridge or lights. Van could have been cleaned before pick up but it was a last minute pickup. The gray water tank wasn’t emptied and definitely not cleaned in a minute, very disgusting to have to drain. The van had everything we needed to camp in Glacier, there was a backup stove, camp chairs, bear spray (was expired), axe, and any kitchen utilities needed. The van allowed us to explore glacier in ways a rental car and tent wouldn’t compare. Overall, it was a good experience.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience renting this van! From the very beginning, the host was incredibly communicative, helpful, and kind. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly. The van itself was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped for an awesome trip. Everything worked perfectly — the bed was super comfortable, the kitchen setup was easy to use, and there was plenty of storage space. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into setting it up for travelers. I couldn’t have asked for a better rental or a better host. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, clean, and cozy van — and a host who truly goes above and beyond!

It was a bit hard to communicate in the beginning. One was on my part, because service in the area was terrible on my phonebut initially had slow communication through the app. When I got a direct number things greatly improved. Before we started our trip, I found it off-putting that pillows, sheets & blankets don’t come with the rental and was an add on. The bed is absolutely*NOT* a queen size. It may be in width, but it is a “special” short size. I am 5’6” and could touch the top and bottom of the van and couldn’t stretch out. My husband (6’) had a really difficult time getting comfortable. The shower was unusable because it was not draining. In addition, it was not communicated that the shower grey water is piped directly outside the vehicle until after rental. I’m not sure about what’s deemed acceptable in MT, but It’s not good practice to have grey water just pouring into the environment. The solar battery is super weak, if you cook a couple times it drains the battery to under 70%, which means water heater won’t work. However, the water heater doesn’t heat sink water- so we didn’t use it at all anyhow.) When the battery gets under 50%, you can’t use the cooktop. The battery charges so slowly on the solar that after an ENTIRE day of full sun, it only charged up 20%, So you pretty much can’t “go off grid” in this thing and cook or use the water heater. We were tied to camping at paid campsites or RV sites if we wanted to have power. We still had a great time, but I was really disappointed in not being able to do our initial plan and camp in more dispersed camping areas. The fan, lights, fridge & stove were really nice to have. I was disappointed in the discrepancy between the advertisement of this being an apartment on wheels and having the ability of staying anywhere, when the reality is it’s very limited.
